Permissions and ownership settings are critical to ensuring the security of your server, so it’s important to get them right! If your files don’t have the appropriate permissions in place, it’s easier for hackers to intrude on your files and gain access to your Adaptix account. Setting your file permissions correctly may not save you from all attacks, but it will help make your Adaptix account a bit more secure.
Permissions can allow (or not allow) certain roles to edit, modify, open, delete, view and etc. certain files in Adaptix.
Each user in Adaptix can be assigned a Role. Each role has permissions you can enable or disable for that specific role.
