Being able to get your contacts to open your emails and read your content/message is important in increasing overall engagement within your platform. Adaptix stores statistics revolving your emails which can be found on the “Email” overview page. Here are some tips on how you can improve your open rate:
- Segment your contacts! Organize your contacts so you can send them emails with the content they want or need. Contacts who receive emails that do not interest them can simply delete the email (“Unwanted content”). You want to send your email out to contacts who want to receive your message.
- Make sure your segment is properly opted in. If your list isn’t opted in properly, your open rate will not be as high as you want it to be. Ensuring that no one is on your email list accidentally or against their will is extremely important
- Make sure your recent added contacts are real people and not bots! You can enforce this by adding CAPTCHA to protect your forms.
- Space out your emails. Send your emails out at appropriate times and avoid sending too many emails within a given time period. If you are overflowing a contacts email they may unsubscribe to your emails.
- Clean your segments and keep your contacts up to date!
- Test your emails and make sure it is functioning the way you want it to.
- Be creative and persuasive with your subject line. You want to lure the contact into clicking the email and interacting with your content.
- Use proper spelling and grammar
